Benefits of Raspberries

Raspberries are low in sugar but high in fibre - make the most of this wonderful fruit, if you can try and buy local produce - buying fruits in season is important because they contain more nutrients, they are not being flown half way across the world!


Each season offers different vitamins so make the most of them and enjoy!  Raspberries contain strong antioxidants and are especially high in vitamin C, in summary half a cup of raspberries provides: Vitamin C, manganese, fibre, copper, iron, Vitamin K, biotin, Vitamin E, folate, magnesium and omega 3 fats. 


Perhaps add your portion of raspberries with some natural yoghurt - what could be more healthy for a menopausal woman! 


According to research raspberries help with weight loss, are great for the complexion and maintain a strong immune system, and of course, all berries may help to prevent cancer. Raspberries contain gallic acid - which fights cancer.
